teams:

1. Get people together in teams.

A street map or floorplan of where people physically work – where their desks and chairs are – is almost always a good way to start diagramming the actual relationships.

These maps show you how to get where you want to go. Use them to figure out which groups need to be involved in solving a problem, and who in each group to ask to participate.

Draw relationships not as they “should” be, but as they are, showing who works with and is friends with who.
