My software company Product Perks (TM) has launched a new website at http://ProductPerks.com and a new Software-as-a-Service offering that I’m especially excited about: it’s called Contact Perks.
(A friend asked, as a joke, “Will there be Perks Perks?” and the answer is yes, it’s called Sort4.Me (SM). It’s a powerful sorting algorithm that creates the questions and answers and summary descriptions from the keywords on a site’s webpages. It can sort tens of thousands of webpages. But more on that another time.)
Contact Perks is Product Perks but with very specific social network tools. It lets the project manager or owner invite the people who are listed as contacts to edit their information, add contacts, edit those contacts’ information, and more.
The “more” mostly has to do with publicity: you can message people in select branches of the hierarchy, and some Twitter/Facebook “feed updates”.
Contact Perks turns Product Perks clients into community organizers… it’s facilitation software that brings people together for a common cause. For nonprofits and government agencies.
Contact Perks gets your contacts (and your contacts’ contacts) sorted into one place. It’s a knowledge base. It’s an outreach tool. It’s a hub. It’s friendly. It’s promotion.

More to come.
