Just as we have freedom of assembly in democratic countries, democratic companies allow “action teams” to be formed by any coworkers who want to get something done.  Their work or decisions can be stopped by, or subject to pre-approval by, the central representatives – if an action team decides to buy a new office building, they probably need approval for funding first.

Actions teams’ decisions or work can be stopped or approved by popular vote of the people who will benefit or be hurt in the company by their actions.
